Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
  4. Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  5. Stuff the cavity with lemon halves, garlic cloves, and rosemary.
  6. Place chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 1 hour 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before carving.
