Description

A refreshing summer drink combining the floral notes of lavender with the tartness of lemon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried lavender buds
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add sugar and lavender buds, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes.
  4. Strain the lavender syrup into a pitcher.
  5. Add remaining 2 cups water and lemon juice.
  6. Stir well and refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and lavender sprigs.

Notes

  • For stronger lavender flavor, steep longer (up to 1 hour).
  • Adjust sugar to taste.
  • Use fresh lavender if available.
