Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken breasts – 2 (about 500g)
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 3 tablespoons
- 🌿 Dried oregano – 2 teaspoons
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🛢️ Olive oil – 4 tablespoons (divided)
- 🌾 Whole wheat wraps – 4
- 🌿 Fresh parsley – 1 cup, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, diced
- 🥒 Cucumber – 1 medium, diced
- 🌾 Bulgur – 1/2 cup
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🧂 Pepper – to taste
- 💧 Water – 1 cup (for bulgur)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by mixing lemon juice, oregano, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the marinated chicken in a grill pan over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Prepare the tabbouleh by mixing soaked bulgur, parsley, tomatoes, and cucumber in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the wraps by placing sliced chicken and tabbouleh in the center of a whole wheat wrap, then roll tightly.
- Serve the wraps cut in half, optionally with dips like hummus or tzatziki.
