Ingredients

  • 🦞 Lobster tails – 4 (about 1.5 lbs total)
  • 🧈 Unsalted butter – 1/2 cup (1 stick)
  • 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
  • 🍋 Fresh lemon juice – 1/4 cup (about 2 lemons)
  • 🌿 Fresh parsley – 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🧂 Black pepper – to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the middle, stopping just before the tail fin.
  3. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the lobster meat.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  5. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in fresh lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  7. Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush with the lemon butter sauce.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, basting halfway through with more sauce.
  9. Once cooked, drizzle any remaining lemon butter sauce over the tails and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
