Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add shredded chicken, thyme, and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk to form a dough.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
