- Water (enough to cover the eggs in a pot)
Instructions
- Place eggs in a single layer at the bottom of a pot.
- Add enough water to cover the eggs by 1 inch.
- Bring water to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, cover and remove from heat.
- Let eggs sit in hot water for 10-12 minutes.
- Drain hot water and transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water.
- Peel and serve or store for later use.
Notes
- Use older eggs for easier peeling.
- Ice water stops the cooking process and makes peeling easier.
- Store peeled eggs in the fridge for up to 1 week.
