- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
- In a large oven-safe pot, brown the pork on all sides over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in the sauerkraut, chicken broth, and caraway seeds.
- Cover the pot and transfer it to the oven.
- Bake for 2 to 3 hours, until the pork is tender.
