Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare cake mix with water, oil, and eggs as directed on the box. Bake in a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. Let cake cool completely. Crumble it into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in cream cheese frosting until fully combined.
  4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze for 20 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate wafers (with shortening if desired) in a microwave-safe bowl.
