Description

A simple and delicious shredded chicken recipe made in a crockpot with BBQ sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and mix with the sauce.
