Ingredients
- Salted Butter: 1 cup (2 sticks), softened
- Granulated Sugar: 1 and 1/3 cups
- Brown Sugar: 1/3 cup, packed
- Large Eggs: 2
- Vanilla Extract: 2 teaspoons
- All-Purpose Flour: 3 and 1/4 cups, spooned and leveled

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, kosher salt, and cream of tartar.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
- Form the dough into balls about 1 to 1 and 1/2 inches in size and roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the tops are slightly crinkled.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
