A flavorful dish featuring soy-ginger marinated hanger steak with quick stir-fried vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1 lb hanger steak, trimmed
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, ginger, garlic, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl to make the marinade.
- Coat the steak in the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let it rest.
- In the same pan, heat the remaining oil and stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
- Slice the steak and serve with the stir-fried vegetables.
Notes
- Let the steak rest before slicing to retain juices.
- Adjust cooking time for preferred doneness.
- Use any mix of fresh vegetables you prefer.
