Description

A classic Italian dish featuring spaghetti tossed with fresh clams in a garlic and white wine sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 pounds fresh clams, scrubbed
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add clams and white wine. Cover and cook until clams open, about 5-7 minutes.

  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes
