A quick and flavorful spicy sausage pasta dish with a rich tomato sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb spicy Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- Use any pasta shape you prefer.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
