Description

Juicy steak fajitas with peppers and onions, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb skirt steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add peppers and onions to the same skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes until softened.
  5. Return steak to the skillet. Add salt, black pepper, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder.
  6. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
  8. Serve steak and vegetable mixture on tortillas. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.

Notes

  • Use skirt steak or flank steak for best results.
  • Marinate the steak for extra flavor if desired.
