Description

Steak with Garlic Cream Sauce is a delightful dish that combines the rich flavors of ribeye steak with a creamy, garlicky sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Ribeye Steak: 2 pieces, about 1 inch thick (approximately 1 lb each)
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Heavy Cream: 1 cup
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh Parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a tablespoon of butter, and sear each side of the steaks for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
  3. Transfer the cooked steaks to a plate and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium, add the remaining tablespoon of butter, and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stir well, and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Slice the steaks against the grain, place on serving plates, and drizzle the garlic cream sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
