Description
Steak with Garlic Cream Sauce is a delightful dish that combines the rich flavors of ribeye steak with a creamy, garlicky sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- Ribeye Steak: 2 pieces, about 1 inch thick (approximately 1 lb each)
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Heavy Cream: 1 cup
- Butter: 2 tablespoons
- Fresh Parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt: to taste
- Pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a tablespoon of butter, and sear each side of the steaks for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Transfer the cooked steaks to a plate and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium, add the remaining tablespoon of butter, and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stir well, and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
- Slice the steaks against the grain, place on serving plates, and drizzle the garlic cream sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, let it simmer longer or add a cornstarch slurry.
- For a thinner sauce, add a splash of chicken broth or more heavy cream.
- Experiment with spices and herbs to enhance flavor.
