Ingredients
- Fresh or frozen strawberries – 2 cups
- Strawberry pie filling – 1 can (21 oz)
- Cream cheese – 8 oz, softened
- Granulated sugar – 1 cup
- Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- Yellow cake mix – 1 box (15.25 oz)
- Unsalted butter – 1/2 cup, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the strawberry layer by combining sliced strawberries and strawberry pie filling, then spread it in the baking dish.
- Make the cheesecake layer by beating cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth, then dollop it over the strawberry layer.
- Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the cheesecake layer without stirring.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
