Ingredients

  • 🥛 Heavy Cream: 1 cup (240 ml)
  • 🌶️ Black Pepper: 2 teaspoons (freshly cracked, adjust to taste)
  • 🧄 Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
  • 🧈 Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • 🧂 Salt: to taste
  • 🌿 Fresh Parsley: for garnish (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Take the beef fillets out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature. Pat them dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, scrape up browned bits, and add black pepper and salt. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Heat the skillet again, add the remaining butter, and sear the beef fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until medium-rare (130°F/54°C).
  5. Remove the fillets and let them rest. Return them to the skillet, spoon the sauce over, and heat for an additional minute.
  6. Serve the beef fillets on plates, drizzled with sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.
