Description

Ingredients

- 1 cup sushi rice
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 boneless chicken fillets
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 4 sheets nori
- 1/2 cucumber, julienned
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice until water runs clear. Cook with 1 1/4 cups water.
- Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Stir into cooked rice.
- Cook chicken in a pan over medium heat. Pour teriyaki sauce over chicken and cook until glazed.
- Slice chicken into thin strips.
- Place nori sheet on a bamboo mat. Spread rice evenly, leaving space at the top.
- Arrange chicken, cucumber, and avocado in the center.
- Roll tightly using the bamboo mat.
- Slice into pieces and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Notes
- Use warm water for rinsing rice.
- Let rice cool slightly before mixing with vinegar.
- Slice chicken when slightly cooled for easier handling.
- Wet your knife before slicing rolls for cleaner cuts.
