Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the sauce. Cook until thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Brush teriyaki glaze over the salmon and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh salmon for the best flavor.
- Adjust sugar to taste if you prefer a sweeter or less sweet glaze.
- Serve with steamed rice and vegetables.
